How to reach us
Poqet is run by a small team. We read every message we receive. The best way to reach us is by email:
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 3–5 working days. Messages about calculation errors or factual inaccuracies are prioritised — if you have spotted something that affects the accuracy of a calculator or guide, please let us know and we will investigate promptly.
What to include in your message
To help us respond quickly, please include:
- Reporting a calculation error: the URL of the page, the specific figure or result you believe is wrong, and any source you are comparing against (e.g. an HMRC guidance page or official rate announcement).
- Reporting a factual error in a guide: the URL, the sentence or section that contains the error, and what you believe the correct information to be.
- Suggesting a new calculator or guide: a brief description of what you would like, and why you think it would be useful to UK property buyers, landlords or homeowners.
- Advertising enquiries: your company name, the type of advertising you are interested in and any relevant deadlines.

What we are not able to help with
Poqet is an independent educational resource and is not a regulated financial service. We are not able to:
- Provide financial advice, mortgage advice, investment advice or tax advice
- Review your personal financial circumstances or recommend specific products
- Recommend or vet specific mortgage brokers, solicitors or estate agents
- Help with disputes with lenders, HMRC or other financial institutions
For advice tailored to your personal situation, please speak to a qualified, FCA-regulated professional. The FCA register at register.fca.org.uk allows you to verify whether a firm or individual is authorised.
Privacy and data
When you email us, we use the information you provide only to respond to your message and to investigate any issue you raise. We do not share personal information with third parties, use it for marketing purposes or add you to any mailing list. Read our Disclaimer for full terms.
Please do not include sensitive personal financial information in messages to us. We do not need — and are not set up to handle securely — personal details such as your National Insurance number, bank account details, mortgage account numbers, credit reference information or identity document details. If you are reporting a calculation error, you only need to provide the URL of the relevant tool, the specific figure you believe is wrong, and the source you are comparing against. Personal financial data is not needed to report an error.
Poqet calculators run entirely in your browser — figures you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The site uses standard web analytics and display advertising (Google AdSense), which operate under their own privacy terms. See our Disclaimer for the full privacy position.
Accessibility
We aim to make Poqet's tools and guides accessible to all users, including those using assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation or browser zoom. Our calculators use standard HTML form elements and are designed to work without JavaScript-dependent interactions where possible.
If you experience an accessibility issue with any Poqet page or tool — for example, a calculator that is not navigable by keyboard, a missing label, or content that is not readable with a screen reader — please let us know by emailing hello@poqet.io with a description of the issue, the page URL, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority.
